Heritage and Conservation

There are a number of Conservation Areas in Streatham.  These have been created to preserve for future generations the natural and built environment of Streatham.

In addition, Streatham has a number of listed buildings of architectural and historical interest. 

The Society is currently compiling  its own draft Local List of buildings of architectural and historical interest.

The Society has deveoped  a Local Heritage Policy that clearly sets out its aims in this area.
