Charlie Chaplin who fell in love with Hatty at the Streatham Empire

CHARLIE CHAPLIN born On This Day 16 April 1889. Started life in Music Hall and the rest as they say is history. "A day without laughter is a wasted day."

Charlie Chaplin was at the Streatham Empire in 1908 where he had a love affair with one of the showgirls- Hetty. In 1916 he wrote a love song about her “There’s Always One You Can’t Forget”
