Founder of Furzedown Project

​On This Day 19th May 2015 the Furzedown Project celebrated their 40th anniversary. Now 45 years old in 2020
Norman Levinson moved to London and took up a partnership in Streatham, where he remained for more than 40 years. He was an associate specialist in ear, nose, and throat (BMJ Obituary December 2008)
Dr Levinson was the Senior partner at the Greyswood Surgery in the Furzedown area of Streatham.
Dr Norman Levinson and his wife Margery lived at 42 Woodfield Ave, Streatham and before that 44 Streatham High Road- Streatleigh Court
On the 19th May 2015, 120 members and guests attended the 40th year of the project. The project was formerly constituted in 1975 by Norman Levinson. The mayor of Wandsworth and actress Sylvia Syms attended together with Norman's widow Margery and son Andrew.
