The Pavilion has recently been restored and provides a community hub run by a charity, The Woodfield Project. Please support them and check out their range of events at https://www.thewoodfield.org

The The Woodfield Pavilion is situated in the grounds of "Woodfield", Streatham, home of Robert Garrard the Crown Jeweller and at one time also Charles Mortimer son-in-law of Beriah Drew, Lord of the Manor

Presiding at the ceremony were Sir Kenyon Vaughan, Chair of the Greater London Playing Fields Association, the Bishop of Kingston, the Rt. Reverend Percy Herbert and councillors from the Metropolitan Borough of Wandsworth and their wives and other local representatives. The Mayor of Wandsworth, Councillor Edwin Brookes, pronounced the building and the recreation ground open. (Andrew Sharp)e .
