On This Day 24th April 2007 the Post office in the High Road junction with Woodbourne Ave closed
Built in 1910 previously a telephone exchange, a fine example of neo-Georgian building of red brick with stone dressings. The windows facing the High Road have stone surrounds and pronounced keystones, and there is also a gable.
It is within the Streatham High Road and Streatham Hill Conservation Area.
Today the ground floor is a branch of Barclays Bank
