Thrales of Streatham Park

On This Day 11 October 1763 Henry Thrale married Hester Lynch Salusbury at St Anne's, Soho.

An arranged marriage which Hester agreed to "not on passion but on reason"

Henry on the death of his father inherited his father, Ralph's brewery and country house "Streatham Park" which he owned since 1735
​

Hester and Henry had pews at St Leonard's and Henry is buried in the crypt
