Arthur Williams was born in Islington On This Day 9 December 1844. He died at home 49 Drewstead Road in 1915
At 16 he made his first appearance as an amateur on stage of the Eclectic Theatre in Soho. He had a highly successful stage career making his debut in the West End in 1888
