Gordon Lang (1943-2020) was born in Scotland and brought-up in Glennie Road off Leigham Court Road. He attended St Andrew's School, Streatham.
He joined Sotheby's as an accountant but ended up there as a world-renowned expert on Chinese ceramics. He often appeared on the Antiques Road Show.
He died 11 October 2010 at Trinity Hospice, Clapham
