The Society takes an active roll in issues relating to local planning and regeneration.

The Society is the local amenity society recognised by the Civic Trust as the body to be consulted regarding planning applications in the Streatham wards of the London Borough of Lambeth.

Society members review planning applications and development proposals with regard to environmental heritage and conservation matters. We also work with local groups in supporting, or objecting, to planning or development proposals that would affect the well being of Streatham.
