Frederick John Nettlefold, a glass bottle manufacturer in Moore and Nettlefold who lived at "Five Oaks" Ryecroft Road died On This Day 25th November 1949 leaving £404k.
He was the son of Frederick and Catherine Nettlefold of Norwood Grove. Fredereick was a manufacturer of screws and the "N" in GKN, Guest Keen and Nettlefold Francis Petherick Marchant died On This Day 25th November 1938. He lived at 41 Fernwood Aveneue.
A Professor in Prague University he was the translator of the "Capek's Letters" and was fluent in 6 languages. A member of the South London Swimming Club since 1915. William Evill is listed as a Manufacturer of Mineral Waters lived at "Bushey House" in Streatham Hill with his wife Mary, 6 children and 5 servants. He was also a Silversmith and born in Bath.
