180 years ago on the 3rd January 1841 The spire of St Leonard's was stuck by lightening nd caught fire

180 years ago on the 3rd January 1841 at 5am a thunderstorm and lightening raged for an hour and a half. The spire of St Leonard's was stuck by "electric fluid" and caught fire
