Horace was born in Streatham 22 July 1878 and baptised at Immanuel Church on 25th August 1878. He attended Wellington School and was in the Royal Irish Rifles
Horace was married twice. Mary Isabel Jackson in Dec 1924 in Kensington and the Lois Gwendoline Williams in Dec 1950 in New Zealand
