On This Day 15 December 1989 bowling alley was relaunched as the Megabowl
On the site of the Gaumont Palace later Top Rank Bowl. The Megabowl, Europe's largest Bowling Alley- Originally 40 Lanes which became 36 Lanes with the "Zapp Zone" on the 1st floor

A games arcade, a McCluskey's bar and a Burger King were added to the ground Floor
