On This Day 13 October 1974 Patricia Plunkett died. She was born at The Streatham Manor Nursing home 11-13 Leigham Avenue. Today Manor Court is on the site.

Completely agree with you about how sad it is to watch a movie, check out the actors - and find they passed away too early. I watched 'Landfall' on Talking Pictures this afternoon. Michael Denison & Patricia Plunkett are/were excellent....

I too looked up Patricia Plunkett after watching her in a film and likewise felt sad for her dying so young. I tried to find out a little bit more about her but found very little about her other than her films which I felt equally sad too about such a talented actress not having more of her life history published
