Hello. Mr Turner was my father-in-law. Do you have any more information please. Any photos of when he served in South East Asia. Thank you.

I am afraid I don't - I was told about him by a relative who has quite a bit of written detail. If you want can you send me an email and I will see if I can put in you in touch. [email protected]

I need help to reconnect with the descendants of North Borneo last British State Secretary, Hon. R.N. Turner c.m.g
I was a boy of 9-10 years old when our family got acquainted with a very friendly British boy who stayed at the British Resident home at the hill (now known as Bukit Pereira), I knew very little about him except that he sometimes would come down the hill to our house which was directly below their Residence. At our house he would play with my eldest sister Alice and brother Jude. He was one of the first person to teach us English language. We were at that time already attended school so communicating in English was not a problem. When North Borneo formed Malaysia in 1963, I recalled they left but as a parting gift, my late father gave the boy a native sword our ancestry's warrior sword (gayang). I did some research and I remember the boy's name was Richard Turner who would be above 70 years old now. I am trying to look for him or his descendants to establish a connection with the after decades of searching. Thank you.
