The Streatham Olympians were an American Football Team formed on this day 30th November 1983 and played on Streatham Common.
In recent year known as the London Olympians and play in Greenwich.

I played Line-backer for this team in their greatest year 1985. If was the perfect summer - even if we did lose in the final. Mainly because we were never meant to be there, let alone exist. This is what happens when you get a gang of misfits together who don't know they're beaten. If you played, were there or have any memories of that team in that year - please contact me.

I think my Dad David moss and my Uncle Gary Moss played for them around that time.

Your name sounds familiar lol.

I played for Streatham too, touch football. I think 1986 though. We played on Streatham common then moved to a green on Valley Road for our games and started to train in Crystal Palace sports centre.

Nick was the QB, Darren Wooten was a WR, 2 Ray's, one was a tight end about 8 foot tall, and one was on the D- Line. There were two LBs who were brothers too. And dude who played 'Joe' in Bugsy Malone was assistant coach. Azard Gordon was another WR we had, quick as hell.

I played running back. We were in the semis but one of our RBs pulled a knife out during a game to the opposition coach and we got kicked out so couldn't play the final.

Was a brilliant team, those were def great days.

I played centre from the very beginning, and martin my brother played left guard . Great times , we should have won that final
