"Fine Fellow and Good Pilot" Gerald Underdown of Mitcham Lane Streatham was killed in an air crash at Old Sarum Aerodrome
The service was conducted at St Leonard's Church where Gerald was a choir boy. The interment was at Streatham Park Cemetery
Gerald was the cousin of Phyllis Trace (Woodbourne Ave) who married Sir Ronald Wates of Wates the builders, connected to E&A Wates of Mitcham Lane Streatham
