The opening of the Tate Library in Streatham designed by the architect of the Tate Galley, Sydney R Smith

On This Day 17th April 1891, 130 years ago, the Tate Library in Streatham was officially opened
​
Designed by the architect Sydney R.Smith who also designed the Tate Gallery.
