On This Day 4th February 1935 the acclaimed magician and member of our FB page Terry Herbert was born. Happy birthday Terry.
Terry was also publicity/entertainment manager at The Silver Blades. At 14 Terry performed magic in The Stork Club which was situated above the Locarno Ballroom and later performed at The Peacock Club , opposite the ice rink.
Terry holds numerous awards including being presented with The Maskelyne Award by The Magic Circle. This is considered as one of The Magic Circle's highest awards and previous recipients have been David Nixon ( former Streatham resident), David Berglas and Paul Daniels
Terry's daughter Sheryl is a Streatham resident
