Winifred Margaret Knights (1899–1947) was a British painter, the daughter of Walter Henry Knights, a Clerk and Mabel Gertrude Knights.
The 1911 census records the family including Winifred's two younger sisters Joyer and Eileen lived at 22 Madeira Road in StreathamIn 1917, traumatised by the zeppelins looming over Streatham, Knights found refuge on her cousins’ farm in Worcestershire.
She married fellow Rome Scholar Sir Thomas Monnington.
